ABOUT CHRIS

Chris brings more than just great creative ideas and true writing skills to a Creative Department.  As an actor, voice talent, improv comedian and public speaker, Chris is equally comfortable presenting to inexperienced junior marketers, senior marketing clients, C-suite executives, or at the Annual General Meeting.  He is a strategic marketer, an engaging presenter, and advocate for creative thinking in every industry.  He believes that creativity shouldn’t be limited to advertising messages, and that the lessons and disciplines of advertising creative play a role across all communication.  After more than 20 years’ working in literally every advertising category, Chris has the experience to understand what needs to be said, and how to say it in a way that will resonate with an audience. 

 

Chris’ 20-year career spans four countries on three continents, creating ads for everything from luxury sports cars and wealth management firms to Japanese symphony halls and aircraft mechanics – building business and winning awards internationally along the way.  He has worked with celebrities and sumo wrestlers, cows and kids, and taken a production crew 7940 feet underground.

 

As a Creative Director, Chris leads by inspiring creative people to do their best work.  He frequently works with young advertising students to help them hone their skills as a frequent guest speaker and creative critic at Humber College, through The Advertising & Design Club of Canada Portfolio Review and at Portfolio Night worldwide.

 

Chris has a B.Sc. in Psychology and English from Trinity College at the University of Toronto.  He is also a licensed pilot, mountain climber, beekeeper, photographer, musician and juggler.
