Richardson GMP wanted to grow it's company by luring successful investment advisors away from the big bank's brokerages - with a promise of catering to the advisors' desire for greater freedom and control over the products they recommended to their clients.

The first year launched with a new website, a new advisor pitch book, and a bold series of TV ads featuring CEO Andrew Marsh telling it like it is - a series of commercials I both wrote and directed.

 

It made a real impact on the industry.  That first year saw an increase in over $3 billion in AUM.

In year two, we kicked up Andrew's attitude just that little bit more.

And AUM went up another $10 billion.
